Knit at own risk! There are known errors in the pattern, and I’ve found and marked out a few in the errata. I checked over the pattern in several sizes years ago but a few errors seem to remain and I am not in a position to rework. Thank you for your interest and your patience. If you want to knit it anyway, you can contribute to the lore by posting your errata, and if I am able, I will rewrite.

This vest was inspired by the fortitude of the hardy souls who provide the wares and staff the tables at the Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market in Washington, DC in all seasons, all weathers. The pattern can be made in sizes from teddy bear to XXL and is a warm, versatile layer when you do not know what the weather will bring. Knit in one piece to the armholes, it includes instructions for a built-in edge to give a finished appearance without the bother of extra finishing. Directions for sewing in a zipper are included; hand-warmer pockets are optional.

Please note: On 10/10/2018, an alert knitter noticed a discrepancy in my addition - the numbers in Column A are incorrect. Until I re-issue, please add up the numbers across the row for each size to confirm the intended number of stitches per section. My apologies.

Also - Solitude Wool informs me that the wool listed is no longer in production, but suggested these as reasonable substitutes from their stock: Montadale woolen or Clun Forest.
