Sol sun + vår spring

An old Norse name, meaning “sunny springtime.”

Knit seamlessly from the bottom up. This is a quick, joyful knit. Combine a neutral with a bright color-changing yarn for a fun-to-make and wear accessory!

There are two sizes available, the different sizes are achieved by using smaller or larger needles when indicated.
Model pictured is M/L size on a 20“ (51cm) head.

Both charted and written instructions are provided.

Finished Dimensions: Designed to fit the average adult. Stretches to fit.

TECHNIQUES
Cast on, knit, purl, fair isle, knitting in the round, using DPNs, decreasing, bind off

This hat is designed for a DK or light worsted weight

For S/M: 16” US 7 (40cm / 4.5mm) circular needle
For M/L: 16” US 8 (40cm / 5.0mm) circular needle
For all: 16” US 7 (40cm / 4.5mm) circular & 5 DPNs

For S/M: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10cm)
