Inspired by the baby bunnies in the gardens during spring and summertime, this textured bunny design makes a great scrubby cleaning cloth. It also sits near the sink or coffee maker and hops around the counter to wipe up splashes and spills.

Try cotton, hemp or linen for cleaning cloths or non-synthetic (heat proof) felting wools for potholders. Gauge and dimensions are provided in worsted weight cotton with size US 7 (4.5mm) needles. Adjust the needle size and/or yarn weight to obtain desired gauge. A light felting of wool items can be achieved in a front-loading washer using cold water with permanent press cycle and a load of towels or jeans. Block to dry (hand-wash for cleaning).

Mosaic garter stitch involves garter (knit) and slipped stitches using one strand of yarn for two rows at a time (switching color strands every two rows). If you can knit stripes and slip stitches it will be easy.

The pattern provides written instructions with (optional) chart for making useful household linens and gifts!
