Some Like it Hot is knit from the center out in the round to form a diamond center. Each side of the shawl is worked separately, back and forth in an identical pattern, which are joined as you go. There is no seaming or picking up stitches. It’s an easy to follow design using garter, stockinette and knit one below sections.

It is so fun to make it yours; contrasting colors, bright and bold, dark and moody soft and romantic, pretty, daring, speckled … the possibilities are almost endless!

WARNING: this pattern can become addicting. My testers (and I) have planned to knit multiple shawls. The design fits many yarns: gradient, stripes, variegated, and solids.

A drawing in the shape of the shawl is given and can be used for coloring in with crayons before you start your project - find your individual version! Thank you leethal!!!

Some Like it Hot is a part of the HOT series, designed for people who don’t brioche.

Notions: 5 Stitch Markers, 2 removable stitch markers, Tapestry needle, T-pins and blocking wires for blocking

Gauge: 16 stitches = 4 inches in Faux Brio stitch after blocking. Although gauge is not crucial for this project, it will affect the finished size and yarn requirements. A looser gauge will result in the use of more yarn.
