Something Fishy!

Tiree is quite reliant on its fishing boats as a source of jobs and income, it can also get pretty chilly up here in Winter. This pattern enables you to knit little stuffable tessellating fish that can then be joined together to make a blanket, cushion or cover. Alternatively knit a few and turn them into a mobile or stuff them with catnip and entertain your cats. The options are endless and it’s a great use for yarn scraps.

A quick pattern (takes between 45minutes and 1hr) that’s been test knit. Gauge isn’t important, the fish have give and as long as you knit them all following the pattern they should join. Uses approx 13m/14yds of 4ply.

Can be knit in any thickness of yarn using appropriately sized needles.
