Son of Perun-god of Thunder and Lightning
Worsted Vest
Perfect for crisp winter days, this rugged vest is worked bottom up in one piece to the armholes. Then the front and back are worked separately to the shoulders which are joined using three needle bind off. Next stitches are picked up around the neckline to work the cozy stand-up collar. Finally the steek down the center front is cut and a zipper installed.
This design is intended to be worn with 2-3 inches of positive ease.

This pattern uses basic knitting techniques along with short rows, three needle bind off, an optional cable cast off, and simple steeking.
