The backbone of any good winter wardrobe is a giant pile of sweaters. The Dye Project Loowit Aran is a yarn born for that calling. It’s spun with plenty of airy loftiness so it knits up beautifully in a variety of gauges and stitches, including this perfect combination of interesting and easy to memorize lace.

Knit from the bottom up with the ribbing edge worked as you go, the Songbird Cardigan is a delightfully simple knit. The thoughtfully shaped drop shoulders are modern and easy to work. Choose a color that brightens the winter gloom and cast on!
