Sophe shawl

This is pattern # 100!! A nice milestone, I say~

A breath of fresh air in a crescent shawl. Feminine, flirtatious and very romantic, yet with a sense of simplicity. Worked top down in two colors, a lovely yet easy to remember lace section, ending with an airy border and cute little twirly ends.

Although it looks like knitted short rows, there are none in this pattern!

It’s generous size 96” by 18” makes Sophe very versatile, so it can be styled many delicious ways~ See lace chart on page 5.

Level of Expertise: Adventurous Beginner/Intermediate

Yarn:
Main color: (variegated) 1 skein Savvy Skeins (400 yards), or 370 yards of fingering weight or sock yarn.

Contrasting color:(solid) 2 skeins Silk Merino (206 yards each), a fingering weight 3-ply yarn. Or 355 yards used of fingering weight yarn.
For a more gossamer effect, a lace yarn could also be used.

Notions:
US size 6 (4mm) circular needle 36” (91.44 cm) in length.
56 Stitch markers for ease of working individual section.

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows in 4” knitted in Garter stitch. Counting 16 ridges.
