This childrens suit was inspired by the knits my Great Grandma Wilson made during the Second World War. The sweater body is knit in one large piece, from back ribbing to front ribbing, with minor color changes. The pants are constructed using short rows in two pieces and seamed up the middle from front to back. An i-cord is added as straps to help keep those pants up, plus they are sized to fit a child as she or he grows!
