From the designer: If color changing within the body of a project intimidates you, this is the pattern to try for color work that’s easy! It’s a slip stitch pattern which means that the color changes are done only at the ends of rows! The rows are all worked in one color. Making it even easier is that this sweater is worked on a garter stitch background. It’s quick and fun to do! Enjoy!

From the website: Easy knit sweater pattern introduces easy technique to change colors that looks great, and fun to knit for all skill levels.
