This simple cardigan features a cable along each front border, and also in the centre of the sleeves. The back is plain stocking stich, so this is a pattern for those who want to make a cardigan which doesn’t take long to knit, but which still has some pretty detail. It doesn’t have to be just for girls either, just change the buttonholes to the other side and make it in a neutral colour for the little lad in your life. Sorcha (pronounced “Sore-sha”) means bright, or radiant.
