This amazingly fast, relatively simple pattern knits up into an impressive looking cowl. Its soft halo compliments the crazy lumpy handspun accents.
It would be equally lovely worked up in a soft alpaca or simple lace-to-fingering weight with any “interesting” yarn used as contrast ~ or simply in a lightly striping yarn that would sit sweetly around your favorite neck.
Souffle Girl was inspired while discussing the merits and foibles of an old, old, OLD stitch that just didn’t do the job.
So I “fixed” the stitch pattern to give the look “the girls” wanted.
Then I test knit it while re-watching Dr Who - Snowmen.
The pattern is named after my new favorite companion.
Clara. Irresistible Clara.
~sigh~

Please note:
The pattern is currently being test-knit by some very picky knitters.
It is offered here for your gift knitting pleasure.
