Looking for a relaxing project to sooth your soul, occupy your hands and allow your mind to daydream a bit? Well, look no further than Soulace

Soulace is a generously sized, asymmetric triangular shawl, knit from the bottom up. Beginning with just a few stitches, its stunning, texture rich fabric is achieved by working a simple slip stitch pattern. Take a closer look to reveal the nicely detailed edges, including a modified (and a bit less frilly) picot bind-off.

Pattern includes fully written and charted instructions. I would consider Soulace to be beginner friendly. It’s a great pattern to learn and practice the slip stitch, using a single color. The charts are easy to read and cross reference to the written instructions, helping a chart reading newbie gain confidence and skill. Although Soulace is suitable for a beginner, there is enough variety throughout the project to keep a more experienced knitter engaged from start to finish.
