The Cloche begins with the cable panel, worked side to side. The crown is picked up and worked back and forth with short rows and decreases to shape it. A ribbed “spine” reaches to the bottom edge of the cable panel, where stitches are picked up and worked down in ribbing.
If you’d like to make a cable substitution see page 114 for info specific to this piece. Substitution is made easy with Norah’s SSE (Stockinette Stitch Equivalent) system.
