This pattern is available as a free Ravelry download

This pattern was born out of a need for a sample of my hand dyed yarn. I knit up this cowl and hung it in my booth at a knitting retreat. The booth sample got so many compliments, I decided to write up my recipe and offer it as a free download.

This free pattern is a general recipe for this cowl, and I encourage you to make it your own! Add more sections, or take some out. Make the sections larger or smaller. Cast on more stitches (multiples of 4). Any way you make it, this cowl will be lovely and keep you warm and cozy.

This pattern assumes that you know how to knit and have general working knowledge of some basic stitches (cast on, joining in the round, knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, bind off). I recommend searching your local library or the internet/YouTube for resources if you are unfamiliar with any of these skills.

Enjoy!!!
