skeins; #0010 Stormy Blue, 4 (5, 5, 6)

hook: H/8 (5 mm) or hook needed to
obtain gauge.

notions: Stitch markers; tapestry
needle for weaving in ends; two ¾–⅞”
(2–2.2 cm) buttons; hook-and-eye
closure; sewing needle and matching
thread (or untwist a length of yarn to
separate the plies and use for sewing).

14 Fsc, sc, or hdc = 4” (10 cm).
One pattern repeat = 2½” (6.5 cm),
4 rows = 3½” (9 cm) in Shell and V Stitch
Pattern.

Note: Gauge as crocheted. Fabric is
stretchy. Applying waistband, blocking,
and wearing will cause fabric to relax
in width and length to give finished
