Uses Palouse Yarn Co Magruder DK Mini Skeins (49yards/20g): you’ll need 5 mini skeins (100g total).

Needles 16” circs size US3 & 4 and size US4 DPNS or 2nd size US4 circ; OR 40” US3 & 4 for Magic Loop. If you are a loose knitter, please go down a needle size or so, and attempt to knit at quite a firm gauge as superwash yarn will relax a lot upon blocking.

Gauge important for this knit but a little tricky to measure. Unstretched and unblocked, 4 motifs measure 3.5” wide. Hat unblocked measures 6” wide x 10” tall laid flat and feels quite firmly knit.
Finished, blocked hat measures 8” wide and 9” tall laid flat. Stretches to fit 22” head

Techniques
Weaving in ends as you go, stripes, cables, slip stitches. Easy enough for a confident beginner.
