A squishy, quick knit, all of 45 rounds! Great for using up those leftover skeins of bulky yarn.

I got Lilo Lofty as part of a kit - it is a soft bulky yarn - not quite super bulky, but a little thicker than bulky. Any bulky yarn that is about 80m/100g should work - just check the gauge.

The pattern stitch is reversible! Choose which side you prefer.

If you want a tighter fit, try on at round 25 or so, and adjust the number of rounds before the crown. If you want it more slouchy, add a few more rounds. (the crown takes up about 5-6cm)

Once you get to the crown, it can become a little squashed with the shorter needle and fewer stitches. I just added another 7mm needle into the mix - or watch this for tips.
