This knitting pattern is a rolled edge hat with a button band that is knitted separately. The button band is functional, meaning the button holes really work. The suggested yarn is super soft, and it has beautiful sparkles worked into it. This yarn really shines, and feels wonderful in the hands. The hat has a comfortable fit and does not hug the head too tightly. I added a little stem at the top of this hat, just to give this piece an extra dash of elegance.

Suggested yarn
1 skein of Laurel Silver Fingering, by Mosaic Moon (92% Superwash Merino Wool, 8% Lurex) 438 yards per skein. Color used in photos: Vivid

Needles
16” US size 3 (3.25 mm) circular needles
Set US size 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles
