This shawl was inspired by Shetland lace shawls but is much simpler in construction as it is worked straight from end to end. The length can be modified by increasing or decreasing the number of times you work charts 2 and 3, I worked them five times. The width can be changed by working the repeat sections less than or more than three times. A smaller change can be made by increasing the size of the seed stitch sections.

I made it with a handspun lace yarn but I think it would work well for most lace to light fingering weight yarns.
