Ponchos are so easy to make and even easier to wear!

This little piece has carried me through many cool evenings on the Cape and Nantucket. It looks fabulous with a pair of jeans or dress it up with a long skirt or dress. I wear it with everything! It travels and packs well too!

Years ago I first knit this up in a cotton blend for summer. The pattern is very versatile.

A little piece of trivia: there once was a yarn shop on Nantucket called Sheep to Shore. Their address was on Sparks Ave…across from the fire station….Now the yarn shop on Nantucket is called Flock…on ORANGE Street. hmmm

NOTE: I’m not entirely sure why Arroyo is listed as a sport weight…but it is. It actually knits up more like a DK or light worsted.
