A half pi-shawl.
based upon the July shawl pattern by Elizabeth Zimmerman from the Knitter’s Almanac. The shawl is based upon Pi whereby the number of stitches doubles on the diameter (on the needle) based upon the number of rows at increasing intervals.
The pattern uses a modification of the garter tab in order to have i-cord edges and bind off.
The pattern modifies the concentric rings of holes from ssk to k2tog and includes a ring of water lilies and geometric sun pattern.

A single skein of your favorite sock yarn is all you need to complete this easy pattern which features an i-cord edge and bind off for a nice rounded and edge.
