This hooded pattern has two options when making it: a cowl, or a capelet! It utlizes a moebius twist at the neck, with simple shaping for the rest of the garment. The twisted cowl portion is worked in the round, and the hood and the capelet (if desired) are worked flat. This construction starts with the moebius twist, working up the hood. Then for the capelet, stitches are picked up and worked down, making it easy to change the length of the capelet as desired.
