This pattern is for a colourwork ‘spider web’ hat, with an stuffed spider that dangles from the top.

One size to fit child. The finished circumference is 40cm (16in), and the hat will stretch to fit a head size up to 50cm (20in).

DK weight yarn in 2 colours. A Wool or wool blend is recommended.

4mm (US6) 40cm (16in) circular needle and dpns, or size needed to obtain gauge.

25sts and 26rnds = 10cm (4in) square on 4.5mm (US7) needles in stranded colourwork pattern worked in the round, after blocking.

Techniques
