This felted bag is great for a first time felting project. Designed with the strap to be attached as you knit. So when you felt the bag/pouch you are finished.

This pattern is knit in the round, so the “Emily Ocker Circular Cast On” works very well. The pattern does not teach this technique, but does include a link for the “Emily Ocker Circular Cast On”.

This design can be knit with any worsted wool or wool blend yarn that will felt.

Diameter estimations after felting
Height: 4¾” - 5½”
Circumference: 9” - 12”
Sizes differ due to differences in the felting process.

Materials:
• Worsted Yarn:
Approximately 75 yards, wool or blend that will felt
• Stitch marker
• Darning needle
Needles Used:
• US10 (6mm) double point
• US10 (6mm) circular 24”
• Crochet Hook G (4mm) or H (5mm)
Gauge:
• 3 inches = 12 sts / 16 rows, in stockinette, before felting
Techniques Used:
• I-cord
• knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, kfb, M1L
