This shawl was designed for the Great Tennessee Yarn Tour 2023. There are store samples in all 13 local yarn stores participating in the yarn tour.

The design begins at the neck with a neck tab.

The shawl is designed to be knit with contrasting stripes. If knit each color for 2 stripes you will need 12 contrasting colors. If you want to use fewer contrasting colors you will knit more than two stripes with each color.

Fingering Weight Yarn For Short Version Shawl:
• Main Color / 100 grams – (400 yards)
• Various Mini Skeins – 85 grams
• Small amount of waste yarn for provisional cast on

Fingering Weight Yarn For Long Version Shawl:
• Main Color / 125 grams – (480 yards)
• Mini Skeins – 100 grams
• Small amount of waste yarn for provisional cast on

Needles Used:
• US 6 (4 mm) circular minimum length 32” (80cm)
• US 7 (4.5 mm) for bind off
• Crochet Hook G (4mm) – (optional) for provisional cast on

Supplies:
• (2) Unique Stitch Markers
• Stitch Markers
• Darning needle

Gauge with the US 6 (4 mm) Needle:
• 2 inches = Approximately 12 stitches and 16 rows
Producing the desired fabric is more important than obtaining
an exact gauge. Adjust yardage accordingly.

Techniques Used:
• Basic stitches
• Stitches used - knit, purl, kfb, yo, k2tog, M1L,
• Picot Bind Off
