Une tuque inspirée des côtes et câbles du chandail Spinster. Tricotée d’une laine des plus luxueuses, elle est de toute douceur sur les oreilles.

Based on the cabling chart from the Spinster sweater, a ribbed and cabled hat that is more of a hybrid between a beanie and a slouch than a true slouch (I couldn’t resist the alliteration! )
Materials
:

Yarn: 1.25 skeins of Sericin Silkworks Silk Yak 4-ply, or 181 meters (207 yards) of yarn needed to achieve gauge. http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/sericin-silkworks-si...

Gauge: 24.5 sts and 30 rows in stockinette stitch using US 6 (4mm) needles.

Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) needles for the brim, US 6 (4mm) needles for the body. I used 32” circulars to work magic loop, 16” circulars or DPNs will of course do just as well. You will also need a cable needle.

As for my other free patterns, if you enjoyed knitting this hat and it keeps you warm, please consider helping the less fortunate be a bit more comfortable as well by donating funds, clothing, or non-perishable items to your local homeless shelter or food bank. Thank you!
