Slouchy hats are in fashion, and look great even on people who don’t usually wear hats. The slip stitch pattern is easy to do, and creates an unusually drapey fabric with an interesting texture on both sides for a reversible hat. The stitch works especially well with variegated yarns, and the colors land in a different pattern than they would with standard crochet stitches.
