A great way to use up your leftover sock yarn! It keeps your yarn from getting tangled while you knit or travel. You can knit right from the cozy with a center-pull ball of yarn or just store a ball of yarn in it and toss it in a bag while traveling. They are knit in-the-round on size 3 DPNs.

The cozies each hold a full skein of sock yarn wound into a center-pull ball (approx. 100g / 400-440 yards).

Left Cozy is made from Knit Picks Stroll sock yarn in Dove (Tosh sock yarn is inside). Right Cozy is made from Knit Picks Stroll sock yarn in Dusk (Cascade Heritage sock yarn is inside).

Each cozy holds about 100-120g of any kind of yarn. The cozy shrinks down as you knit your project. There is a decorative spiral on the bottom.
