The banks of the Fraser River in British Columbia, is home to the Sto:lo Nation - the ‘river people’. This elegant moebius style wrap is to honor the mighty Fraser which they have relied upon for food and transportation for many generations.

This is a one-piece grafted construction that’s knitted flat lengthwise - so no casting on hundreds of stitches to start! This wide cowl is long enough to wrap around the neck once plus also cover the head like a hood. The length is fully adjustable!

Just like the foaming water that rushes through the canyons, the double sided lace forms a zig-zagging pattern and the garter stitch edging forms soft ripples.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Intermediate/Adventurous Beginner

  • double sided lace
  • kitchener stitch grafting - instructions provided!
  • provisional cast on

Note: This pattern does not contain even one purl stitch!
