This was my first attempt at pattern writing. It is offered “as is” with the understanding that it has not been tech edited and does not reflect my current pattern style.

I rarely wear hats. They make my head feel too warm, so I tend to go for headbands or ear warmers instead. However, I like the look of hats. This project is designed to keep the look of a cozy, slouchy hat while still allowing air to cool the back of your head. Perfect for unpredictable autumn or spring days!

NOTE: This pattern is designed by a tight knitter. I highly recommend doing a gauge swatch and adjust your needle size accordingly to avoid ending up with a giant-sized product.
