The Split Cowl turns the traditional double cowl on its head! It offers cozy warmth and a sophisticated, layered look with stripes running in different directions, and great versatility in style. You also get (count ‘em!) six collar points to play with.

Worked in two different high- or low-contrast colors, the stitch pattern is easy to memorize, and the pattern itself works up pretty quickly. You can easily translate this pattern to any yarn weight, and prototypes shown are in worsted (lime and white) and fingering (self-striping Noro).
