Tools:

  • One 60” (152 cm) size US 13 (9.0mm) circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge), using magic loop method
  • Tapestry Needle, to sew yarn ends in
  • Stitch holders, optional (scrap yarn may be substituted)

Materials:

  • Approximately 520 (560, 645, 730, 800, 885, 970) yards super bulky weight yarn (examples shown in Lion Brand’s Hometown USA yarn)
  • Three 1 to 1.5 inch (2.5-4 cm) buttons

Pattern is knit top down. Neck is worked flat, and then joined together. Pocket is knit first, put on stitch holders (or scrap yarn) and work is picked up into back of pocket and continued down.
