At downtown Spokane, Washington, the Spokane River forms two waterfalls which are impressive to look at from one of the footbridges across the river. The stitch pattern of the socks designed for Alix, who I had the pleasure to visit in Spokane, reminds me of the rapids and spume of the swift-flowing water.

The sock pattern, which is knitted from the top down and features heel flap and gusset, comes in three sizes to fit leg circumference:
S - 7” (17.5 cm), M - 8” (20.5 cm), L - 9” (22.5 cm)
Leg length and foot length are adjustable.

You can choose to work the lace pattern either from the
charts or the written instructions.

The Spokane Falls pattern is also available as part of the (No longer virtual) Friends eBook.

Please note:
There is a special collaboration for this collection with the very talented indie dyer SpinningFates, who dyed special colourways for each pattern included in the collection. Check out her Etsy shop here and receive a discount code for the pattern(s) with any purchase. The offer is valid as long as supplies last.
