A reversible tea cosy, spots on one side, stripes on the other, with a double knitted base to act as a mat. Knitted in one long strip and then folded and knitted up into the finished shape on circular needles.

Please note: the tension given for this pattern in the book is wrong! The correct tension should be 23 sts and 32 rows over stocking stitch using 3.25mm needles gives a 10cm square. I have no idea why the editors of the book changed this and I apologise for any confusion.
