Sprigs is a fun and fairly easy pattern to knit. Knit in one piece there are no sections to sew on or seam up. The rib texture in the scarf allows for no right or wrong side and the scarf can be knit into a long or short scarf depending on your needs.

Any yarn may be used to knit this scarf. If you select a worsted to bulky weight yarn it will be a super chunky and warm scarf. Knit it in a sock or lace weight for a lighter romantic version. Just change the needles to the yarn selected. To close the scarf you can use buttons, shawl pins or pull one end through the openings of the cables on the opposite side.

Materials Needed:
Size 10 (6.0 mm) straight knitting needles
1 balls of Malabrigo Worsted Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool 210 Yards
Darning Needle
Cable Hook
If a longer scarf is desired 2 balls will be required
