The spring blooms scarf is the perfect spring accessory. It is an extra layer for cooler days and an airy accessory for warmer weather. The flower pattern and bright colors remind me of all of the flowers blooming on trees. The scarf can also be customized; make it longer or shorter, join the ends to make a cowl or infinity scarf, or increase the width for a light shawl or even a blanket.

Size: The scarf is approximately 4” wide and 64” long. Directions are included for changing the scarf’s length and width.

Level: Advanced Beginner
The pattern features an easy repeat and a few special stitches.

The pattern is written in English using US crochet terms. The PDF download includes:

  • The complete pattern for the scarf and an optional border
  • A step by step tutorial with 13 pictures
  • Description of special stitches
  • A list of materials
  • A list of abbreviations
  • Color pattern information
  • Information to change the length and width of the scarf

Both a printer friendly pattern and a longer picture tutorial are included.

I made these coasters with Bernat Cotton-ish yarn and a 3.75 mm (F) hook. Exact colors are given in the pattern. However, you can make the scarf with other yarn.
