This is a lovely lace snood great for spring and autumn when the weather can be very unpredictable. Like an infinity scarf, Spring into Darkness is a seamless loop, and the lace pattern of stylised blossoms and leaves is bordered by a garter stitch edging to prevent curling. The snood is knitted flat and is then grafted to close into a loop. You can make a wider snood simply by increasing the cast on in 16 stitch intervals.

Required skills:
Provisional cast on
Increases and decreases
Kitchener stitch or similar for grafting

There are written instructions as well as a chart, so you can choose whichever you are most comfortable working with.

Dimensions:
40 x 50 cm after blocking and grafting, 80 x 50 cm when blocked, but not yet joined.
