About the Design:
This V-shaped shawl is not difficult to knit, but it will keep your attention! The 2-row stitch pattern is adapted from Barbara Walker’s Charted Knitting Designs. The shawl needs no edging, unless you desire one – as knit, it is non-curling.

In this lovely alpaca yarn, it is a luscious coverup for cool spring days and summer evenings. It is sampled in Kraemer Yarns Alpaca, a 100% North American alpaca yarn, in a DK wt.

Sizes: 54″ wide x 29″ long

Finished Dimensions:
Unblocked Width x Length: approx 27″ x 38″
Blocked Width x Length: approx 29″ x 54″

Yarns: Kraemer Yarns Alpaca, 100% North American alpaca, approx. 220 yd / 100 gr skein: 2 skeins #Y1901 Natural or color of your choice

Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st and 16 sts and 22 rows = 4″ over lace patt (unstretched and unblocked) with size 8 ndls or size to give gauge.

Note: This is a looser St st gauge (the ndl size is 2-3 sizes larger) than I would use for a garment.
