Springer River the Socks is the second pattern in my collection of knitwear inspired by swedish nature and
culture. The nature of Sweden is versatile and beautiful and there is so much inspiration to be found there.

These socks have the same pattern as the Spring River mitts and they are inspired by the spring rivers in the north of Sweden. When the snow starts to melt in the mountains the water flow increases. Small, trickling streams grow into rushing rivers, finding their way through the landscape. Sourrounded by trees that have just showed their first bit of spring green color.

The socks are worked from the cuff down, with heel flap and kitcheners stitch toe.

I hope you enjoy knitting Spring River - the socks!
