Perfect Spring “throw-on” sweater for boys using a DK weight cotton or cotton-blend yarn, for machine wash & dry.
Top-down to make it easy, and some texture and color to make it fun!

The buttoned placket has a generous opening so it’s an easy on-and-off for wiggly kids, and the rolled edge on the sleeves and hem means you just knit until it’s long enough (length on sleeves/body allows for shrinkage - we know how cotton does!)

A really quick project with plenty of scope for customizing with color zing - a great chance to stash-bust with those stripes!

The XS, S and M use just 2 skeins for the main color (KP cotlin) and the L needs 3 skeins. The stripes use small amts of 3 or 4 contrasting colors. CO with a #6 needle, and knit the rest with a #7. Grab 3 buttons (matching, or not…), and you’re finished!
