Springtide is a simple but pretty shawl featuring a center panel of cascading leaves surrounded by simple garter stitch. The charming, lacy edging is finished with a simple picot at the end of each leaf. Wrap Springtide around your neck or shoulders for a beautiful bit of spring time!

Springtide was the first pattern from Twisted’s 2012 Shawlette Club.

Yarn: Approx 350 yards fingering-weight yarn. Pale grey sample shown in one skein of Blue Moon Fiber Arts Seduction (50% merino wool, 50% tencel; 400 yd per 113 gr skein), colorway Wanda.
Gauge: 20 sts = 4” in stockinette stitch.
Needles: US #6 (4mm) 24” circular needle or size needed to get gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle.
Skill level: Advanced beginner.
Size/Finished measurements: One size fits most. Approximately 16” down center back and 48” across top from tip to tip after blocking.
