Springtime in Pehuenia Hat

I knit this hat inspired by Pehuenia. Villa Pehuenia is a small village located in the north coast of Alumin(c) lake, in the province of Neuquen, Argentina.
This region is characterized by the presence of mountains (Patagonian Andes) and glacier lakes, but Pehuenia is also dominated by pehuenes (Araucaria araucana) and Batea Mahuida volcano.
Pehuenia is really beautifull!

This is a beanie with a pretty and easy pattern.
Medium size (22 inches / 56 centimeters)
Level Intermediate. Project with basic stitches: knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, s2kp.
Yarn: DK weight yarn, 260 meters approx./ 280 yards approx.
Needles: 1 set of double pointed needles size 2.75 mm (US2) and 1 set of double pointed needles size 3.5 mm (US4).

Gauge: 1-by-1 rib (unblocked): 26 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm or 4 inch square (for me with size needles 2,75 mm)
Lace pattern (unblocked): 21 sts and 25 rows = 10 cm or 4 inch square (for me with size needles 2,75 mm)
