For this pattern, it can fit a size up or down because of the drawstrings on both the top and skirt..they are adjustable…the tie on the top is put there to also make as a ruffle as well as drawing in the size around the hip/belly area..The straps for this pattern are treated per baby..I gave details on how to design them but you will need to fit the directly on the baby or use your best judgement on where they need to start based on the child it will fit..I found that best in my case and gives you a better fit…When attaching Dippity Dots to the neckline, for a better hold, make sure to join under the stitch itself, not just the loops…I have attached the link to my Youtube Channel to assist with the stitches used in my pattern.
