The Springwater Shawl is a crescent-shaped shawl constructed from the top down. The shawl starts with simple stockinette stitch and is finished with a feminine lace edge.

The lace pattern used in this shawl has patterning on both the right side and wrong side rows.

The pattern contains both written and charted instructions.

Two sizes are available. The small size requires 250-275 yards of fingering weight yarn and is 28 inches across and 11.5 inches deep (71 cm x 29 cm). The small size is big enough to just wrap around your shoulders. The large size requires 450-475 yards of fingering weight yarn and is 56 inches across and 15.5 inches deep (142 cm x 39 cm). The large size can be worn in a variety of ways.
