Awake or asleep this lovely blanket is sure to be a favorite.

This pixie’s fern blanket is quick and simple to make.
The embossed fern is a yarn over pattern that is easy to remember.

The pattern has both written instructions and a chart, as well as a recipe for making any size you would like.
This blanket comes in 4 basic sizes plus a “lovey” size.

The small is a great size for a newborn or for use as car seat/stroller blanket. It uses only 2 skeins of Malabrigo Worsted.

If you prefer a larger blanket there are instructions for medium and large sizes as well as a square version. (3 & 4 skeins)

If you are familiar with basic increases/decreases, yo, ssk, and k2tog, the pattern should be fairly simple and straight forward.
If you are not familiar with these skills this blanket will be a bit more of a challenge and a good project for learning and practicing new skills! (Adventurous beginner!)

Large 30 x 36” (76 x 91 cm)
L square 34 x 34” (86 x 86 cm)

Size 10(6.0) needles
Small 24 x 26” (61 x 66 cm)
Medium 28 x 32” (71 x 81 cm)
Large 32 x 35” (71 x 89 cm)
L square 32 x 32” (71 x 71 cm)

There should be the perfect size for your precious little sprite!
