The three cables in this ribbed hat imitate the foam and spray that comes up off of the waves as they crash into the shore. Not the neat, efficient shift of the sandy beach, but the twisting and turning of the water as it churns and brings to light the things of the deep. Twisted ribbing and occasional cables keep your interest as you knit this hat that can be made for infants to grown men. It is a quick enough knit that you can make several.
