The pattern for this hat is inspired by the invaluable Square Knot - a set of Celtic inspired cables is worked up each of the three sides of this hat to create a motif perfect for knitters or mountaineers.

The pattern includes two sizes: Large - 23 inches and Small - 21 inches.

Skills Needed: Knitting in the round, cable knitting, increases and decreases.

Materials Needed:
-1 Skein of fingering weight yarn - 100g/400yard skein
-US Size 3 (3mm) double pointed needles
-Cable needle
-Row marker
-Darning needle to weave in ends

Gauge: 7.5 stitches and 10.5 rounds per inch.
