All aboard the Square Tee! This design features a square neckline and cute cap sleeves, all lined with a simple i-cord.

The Square Tee is knitted seamlessly top-down. The back is cast on first, increases are made to shape the right and left fronts and then the sleeves, and then joined to create the neckline. After more raglan increases, the body is joined in the round. Sleeve stitches are then left on hold while the rest of the body is finished in the round. Finally, a light-weight 2 stitch i-cord bind off is used to line the hem, sleeves and neckline.

Needles
US 5 [3.75 mm] circular needles. Choose any length cord you’re comfortable with, I recommend 32-40 inch (80-100 cm)
US 5 [3.75 mm] DPNs, if you choose to not use magic loop on the sleeves and neck
Note: I tend to knit pretty loose, so you might have to go up a needle size! Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge

Gauge
20 stitches x 26 rows = 4 x 4 inches on US 5 [3.75 mm] needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking

Note
Sizes 3XL and 4XL have not been test knitted. Although I am confident in the calculations of these sizes, if you would like to knit any of these sizes and provide feedback please contact me and I’d be happy to provide you the pattern for free in exchange for the feedback!
