When designing this pattern the Luscious Single Silk just said what it wanted to be – lots of squishy reverse stockinette stitch with slipped stitches, made in two complementary colors. Soft. Wearable. Giftable. The name is a nod to the accordion-like fabric you end up with. Plus, who wouldn’t want a squeezebox cowl?

Yarn
approximately 180 (360) yards worsted-weight yarn, split between two colors as follows: color A: 120 (240) yards, color B: 60 (120) yards. I used Blue Moon Fiber Arts LSS, Issaquah (color A) and Deep Unrelenting Grey (color B).

Finished measurements
Both cowls, after blocking: approximately 9.5”/22 cm tall. Single loop double loop: 20”/48 cm 50”/127 cm circumference.
